This is the main screen for displaying at a glance the items you have in stock. As your stock grows, it will be impracticable to display all the items on a single page, so you are offered the ability to search for stock items and sort them by various criteria.
You will notice that there are two prices for every itme. The first is the cost price. This is really what it costs you for each stock item you purchase from your supplier. The second is your selling price, which includes your mark-up, and any VAT applicable. You determine these prices when you are adding stock items to the system, and they can be edited.
There is also a field for a supplier code, to help you keep a record of your suppliers. The commodity code field is when you are importing goods from outside the EU, and is a legal requirement.
