The first thing you may notice is the top menu (illustrated below). This appears on all the screens and enables you to access various features. These will be explained as we go along. The green links along the very top give you access to general features - there is a link to these tutorial pages you are reading justnow, and links to our small business advice services, and other general information which may be of value to you. These links open in a separate browser window so you do not have to interrupt your work. However, what we are concerned with in these tutorials is the row of orange links below the green set. These are the actual functions within TOPS and it is these you will be using while you are working with the system.

There is one item that is particularly important if you are just starting out with TOPS. That is the "Manage Lists" link. This enables you to input your stock and catalogue data, carrier details, packaging information, and so on. (We can get you started by doing this on your behalf). Let us look first at stock control management. If however, you already have your data, and are ready to start using the system, then we can move on to the customer management section.
