Despatch Management - Editing a Packing Batch

A packing batch normally contains more than one delivery, although it does not need to. In the example shown below there are five deliveries. Notice that one of these deliveries contains more than one item. If you have just created a new batch there will not yet be any deliveries, so you need to add delivery items using the "Add / Remove Deliveries" Button. If you are editing an existing packing batch you may also need to use the same button. Therefore it is the process of adding deliveries to the batch which we shall review next >

You may also notice that there is a facility for "auto-packaging". This feature is useful when all or some of the items in the batch require the same packaging. You simply select the relevant check boxes in the auto-packaging column.

If you already know how to add or remove deliveries, you may wish to know how to edit the packages themselves. You may notice that there is a "Details" link beside each delivery. This allows you to edit the package details for that particular delivery. However, we shall first look at adding or removing deliveries to or from the batch.
