Despatch Management - Creating a New Packing Batch

We shall start from the beginning. Having clicked on the "New Batch" button, you will arrive at the screen shown below.

  1. You should specify the "send date", i.e. the date on which you intend to despatch the items.
  2. The "sent date" is added later once the items are actually sent out.
  3. You should select a carrier from the drop down list. If you are using more than one carrier you must place deliveries which are handled by the other carriers in separate batches.
  4. Choose a description that means something to you such as "Tuesday 1st March" or "large teddy bears" (if you are selling teddy bears!).

Now you need to add delivery items to the packing batch. This is, in effect, the same process, as editing an existing packing batch. next >
